A lot of people have inquired about our upcoming schedule, so we decided to make it easy to access by just publishing it at our home page. We will try to keep it updated.  We live a pretty busy life.  When we're not traveling to dulcimer or quilt retreats, workshops, festivals, we're paddling our favorite rivers and hiking the trails. This is a year of transition for the Lippys.

August:
8/1/08 - MOVE. David retires today, and we leave Florida forever (as residents). Arrive in Franklin, NC to begin our Training for the ultimate adventure next year.
8/7/08 - Meet up with family (Robb, Selina, Jason) for the hike to Mt LeConte (6000' high), where we have reservations at the historical, rustic Le Conte Lodge.
8/24& 25 - Katy & Dennis Rosoloski, past neighbors in Orlando, currently living in Piney Flats, Tn visiting
8/27 - Dinner invitation at home of new friends in Franklin
8/31 - Next door neighbor from Orlando, Todd Thompson, visits
SEPTEMBER:
9/6 & 7 - Childhood friend, Sheba, and husband Mark, from Greenville, SC visit, attend Michael Shull concert tonight
9/7 - attend the David Holt concert, downtown Franklin
9/17 - Hiker dinner/gathering at the Rogers, downtown Franklin
9/20 & 21 - Visit friends in Piney Flats, Tn. Attend local contra dance in Jonesborough, Tn
OCTOBER:
10/1 - Dulcimer Central friends visiting to jam.

3/1: Tenative start date for our Appalachian Trail Thru Hike, Amicalola State Park, near Dawsonville, Ga.
